On Sept. 11, representatives from local mental health nonprofits will host a free mental health community fair from 9 a.m. to noon at Prestonwood Pond. The event, called On Mindful Pond, will feature numerous booths, entertainment and access to local mental health experts, resources and services. The free mental health community fair is free and is available for all ages.
On Mindful Pond is now welcoming exhibitors. All exhibitors will be invited to attend a VIP dinner on Friday, Sept. 10, which will include Texas barbeque and entertainment by the jazz band Rhythm Addiction. Nonprofit organizations may exhibit free of charge, and for-profit organizations interested in exhibiting are asked to make a modest donation of $500.
