Additional Info	This community event is a celebration of Hood Canal Spot Shrimp and other local seafood. It features belt sander races, arts and craft booths, live music, kids activities, delicious food, great fun and shrimp! Limited quantities of Hood Canal Shrimp for sale! Bring along your favorite decorated belt sander to enter the races that will be held at 11am and 3pm. The tides are usually low enough during this weekend for easy harvest of clams and oysters on the public beaches near the festival (license required) and the weather is traditionally good during this holiday weekend. This is great family fun! Proceeds from ShrimpFest will be donated to community projects.
