Additional Info	For one week each year the fairgrounds in Owatonna rivals a large shopping center. Vendors from 20+ states bring a wide range of goods, from crystal to quilts, art to furniture, potato peelers to RV's. Over 100 food stands will tease the taste buds of fairgoers and have them eating everything from cotton candy to prime rib. Kids and adults of all ages will enjoy events from pig races to the puppet shows. Thrill seekers will prefer the 30 plus midway rides or one of the many attractions. Music lovers of all ages can visit the FREE entertainment stages and tap their feet to all kinds of different music. The Grandstand offers eight shows from concerts to bull riding. With so much to see and do, it's no wonder that the Steele County Free Fair was named "One of the top events in North America".
