Additional Info	“Santa’s Coming” - Santa Claus will arrive on Friday and Saturday for kids and their families. The children will have a chance to give Santa their lists for Christmas. Free children's activities and crafts provided by the community as well as face-painting, tractor hayrides and more! Bates is located about 1 hour north of downtown San Diego and about 50 minutes east of Oceanside. Bates has no admission fee, no parking fee. We are open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. We have 2 retail stores with homemade fudge, nuts, candies, gourmet foods, and gifts. We have a farm zoo and picnic tables, with lots of grass to run around in.
