Additional Info	For more than 25 years during the third weekend of July, South Fork hosts their annual Logger Days Festival. This event honors the area's logging roots, which is what originally made this area prosper. The Logging competitions are held on Saturday and Sunday with contestants competing for cash prizes and trophies. Events for men and women include the axe throw, plunge cut, wood chop, choker race, hanger cut, wrapper throw, speed cuts, cross cut, single buck and the accuracy fall. While logging is no longer a driving force in the area, it is still remembered through this fun family-oriented event. Enjoy a variety of events throughout the weekend including music, food, arts & crafts, children's games, wood carvings, raffles, prize drawings and more.
